Awesome track... this exemplifies on of the things that amazes me about Neal and his band: the sheer diversity. Here we have a good old southern revival foot stomper- creativity like this makes much of my other mustic pale in its own stylistic limitation. This is just FUN!

SOLA SCRIPTURA AND BEYOND

This vid is a 'rough cut' compilation from multiple concerts spanning several of his projects, including "Sola Scriptura", "Testimony", and "Question". The common thread in the pieces is that they all are derived from a deep conviction of the Freedom and New Life that is ours in Christ...



p.s... In the second set, you might have caught the words "I will write my words upon the door"... the lyrics to this section of "The Door" are...

If you know a little of your protestant reformation history, you will recognize this as part of the story of Martin Luther and his spiritual journey that led him to post the '95 Theses' on the door of the All Saints Church in Wittenberg, Germany, in October, 1517... the event that most historians credit as the crystallizing moment that set the protestant reformation in motion. Hence, the title of Neal's project, "Sola Scriptura"
